Her First Concert - RCPM

Daddy's dream came true. He got to take his daughter to her first concert before she hit her teen years. He's seriously been talking about how he couldn't wait to take her to see Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers since she was in the womb. At the end of December, the City of Tempe hosted a big party for the opening of the light rail system that our tax dollars paid for. We went down to the opening with Bob and Katherine and rode on one of the trains to get to the show. It was actually pretty cool. The cars are very clean (for now). We met up with Heather, Dave, his mom, Kathy and brother, Ray as well so there was a big group of us. Anywho, she loved the concert! We had to bundle her up in a warm sweater jacket and a couple of blankets because it was a bit chilly that day. She was kicking her feet in her stroller to the music. There was even a fireworks display at the end of the concert which she also loved. I expected her to not like the loud bangs, but it didn't bother her a bit. She just watched with amazement. Pretty cool day. :)

Just chilling, watching fireworks, waiting for the train

Carrie,
I just cant get over how BEAUTIFUL Sydney is! Those arent Eyes their JEWELS! Looks like you two are giving her some good culture! I miss Arizona concerts. A concert in Jackson in December would result in a audience of Ice Sculptures! NO KIDDING! Im Jealous!
