Christmas Morning

It was so fun to watch Sydney this Christmas. Although she doesn't really "get it", she was able to say "present" and "Christmas" and "Santa, Santa - Ho Ho Ho!" We really had an amazing time with her although we missed our families. She was in awe when she saw everything under the tree. Of course she went right for the wagon that Santa brought her. She opened most of her own gifts and was overwhelmed to say the least. I posted most of the pics to facebook, but here are a couple of my favorites from that day.

Love my new ride!

Christmas Eve at Auntie Fran's

We spent Christmas Eve with our dear friends, "Auntie Fran" and Matt. Fran absolutely spoiled Sydney with tons of gifts! She got some beautiful dresses, really cute play clothes, and some awesome animal puzzles. We also took a present from Grandma and Pap Pap to open. They recorded themselves reading the book, The Night Before Christmas. Syd totally recognized their voices and just loved it!

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

We decided to save money this year and do our own Christmas photo shoot. Sydney was less than cooperative that day, so getting good photos was nearly impossible. Here are the best from that day.

Sydney Meets Santa... again

Sydney wasn't as fond of Santa this year. It was impossible to get her to smile with the first round of photos. Luckily, they weren't busy and they let us go try again. The second time, Sydney would not sit on Santa's lap, so I had to sit there with her. You can see my leg and hand in all of the shots. Oh well, at least we got some and she didn't scream or cry, real tears, that is. ;) Until next year...

12K's of Christmas

Dave organized/ran the booth for the Arizona Siberian Huskey Rescue Association (ASHRA) at the 12K's of Christmas event in Gilbert, AZ. There was a 12K run for crazy humans and a 1.2K sled walk/run for dogs. We obviously did the walk. We all dressed up in our more festive holiday outfits and had a great time at the event.
