Sydney's 1st Time Painting

During our full week of rain, that rarely happens in AZ, we needed to get creative and come up with more things for Sydney to do. So, why not painting! She did a really good job, but seems to hoard the water and forget the paint. Anyway, she had a great time and now it's one of her favorite things to do.

Cave Creek Hot Air Balloon Festival

In early January, we took Sydney to the Cave Creek Hot Air Balloon Festival so she could see the balloons close up. She seemed to really enjoy them, but every time the balloonists(?) would turn on the fire, she would say "CAREFUL!!!" Hmmmm... I suppose I might say that world a little too much. It was really cute nonetheless. So except for getting whacked in the head by another little girl with a light saver, she had a good time and was pretty well behaved. It was really cool to see the balloons up close, but I still stand by my decision to never go up in one.
