The First Ultrasound

To confirm the pregnancy, my doctor ordered an ultrasound. The tech confirmed we were 7 weeks along and all was measuring as it should be. The due date was set for February 29th, 2008 - a leap year baby! The coolest part of the ultrasound had to have been hearing and seeing the heartbeat for the first time. It became so real and brought tears to both of our eyes. Yup, life was going to change... big time!
